An extension and refurbishment of a family home within the South Downs National Park, defined by a strong linear architectural character, rhythmic brick colonnades, deep window reveals and refined metal-framed glazing, creating light-filled, interconnected spaces with a considered relationship to the surrounding landscape.

A comprehensive extension and transformation of a Surrey Hills bungalow, creating an ultra-minimalist home defined by crisp parapets, linear aluminium-framed glazing and disciplined proportions. Reconfigured, light-filled interiors establish a strong connection with the surrounding landscape while framing commanding long-distance views towards the South Downs.

Employing rich stone and timber weatherboard finishes, this simple two-wing design for a bungalow takes it inspiration from the original extended workers cottage previously located on the site.

Originally constructed in 1580, designs are now being carefully considered for alterations and extensions to this Grade II Listed property in West Sussex to create a new eat-in kitchen, utility and storage space.

A simple L-shaped bungalow with a living, dining kitchen and bedroom wings, designed and constructed with Passivhaus principles at its forefront.

Iain Collie Architecture was commissioned to produce the technical drawing pack and provide advice during the build for a twenty residential apartment development in Horsham, West Sussex for the restaurant chain, Smith and Western.

Taking a derelict concrete framed, tinned roof agricultural building and transforming it into a beautiful family home.
